Returning to audiofeed 2026!
We are pleased to announce that insomniac folklore will be returning to audiofeed this summer. we love the audiofeed community and can hardly wait to be back!
If you dont know, audiofeed is a faith based music festival in the midwest where people can come and ask questions, explore ideas and enjoy a lot of good company and good music. We highly recommend that you attend.
we may also be playing select national dates on our way to the festival, so, keep and eye out for those.

Here is the song ‘Haunted’ recorded live at Ba Gua Studio in Roseburg, ORegon. This recording session was possibly our most enjoyable ever with Michael Mendenhall at the recording console and madison howe helping out with capturing the video. meet REv Folklore
Born and raised in rural south western oregon, Tyler Hentschel grew up running in the woods, drawing and working on farms. at the age of 15, Tyler got his first guitar for $30 from one of his dads friends. he has never stopped playing.
Tyler formed Insomniac Folklore as an outlet for his own thoughts and ideas put to music. With a rotating cast of friends and family forming the band, tyler has lead the group across the united states more times than anyone can count. playing national festivals, Theaters, tiny coffee shops and everything between.
Tyler has also worked as a stage hand with some longer stints with acts such as alice cooper and slayer. He has also made some background and cameo appearances on the tv show ‘Nashville.’
He continues to play shows with the band and solo and make other art.
The best is yet to come…
